Site Preparation Checklist Before Delivery
- Clear Access Route: Ensure driveway gates are opened wide and parked cars are moved to provide a clear straight reversing path for a 32T vehicle.
- Protect Manhole Covers: Cover fragile utility covers, drain gratings, and delicate block paving along the truck or wheelbarrow pathway.
- Prepare Formwork & Sub-base: Ensure all trench timber shuttering is well-staked, damp-proof membranes (DPM) are laid, and steel rebar cages are securely tied before the truck arrives.
- Arrange Adequate Labour: If wheelbarrowing, have at least 2 to 3 labourers with sturdy barrows and rakes ready to take advantage of your free 10-minute/m³ offload time.
